Hi guys was thinking of lowering my eclass but with it being a sport I think it's lower than standard models so with this in mind what drop of springs would I need 30mm? As I wouldn't want to buy 30mm springs and have them fitted for it to sit the same as oem sport springs, any help greatly appreciated

I've got Eibach springs and bilstein b8 shocks on myn. Lowered it another 20mm. It's superb, great ride and total control.
If you're going to lower it, you gotta do the shocks too or it will lurch and dive like a roller coaster.

Ok thanks good advice I'll look into shocks as well although I thought with being a sport the shocks would have been uprated?

Unless your shocks are new, mileage will have softened them up now. Please don't fit springs alone , you will Hate the result.

Ok thanks for your advice I have been looking at your shock recommendation b8 and they retail around the 500 mark, I don't think I could justify until my oem shocks are scrap, so I'll have to put the lowering mod on hold I think although in saying this mine does sit lowish from a standard model. By any chance could you share a pics of yours so I can compare? Thanks here's mine

Hi just another question, how much is my sport lowered from factory? 15mm? If I were to buy a 40 mm setup then would it lower by another 25mm?

Also I see in most adverts that spring isolator/pads determine the ride height? Can someone explain to me what these are for? And if I wanted to lower my car more is it just a matter of change spring pad for smaller ones? Any advice would be great thanks

Any ideas guys? Are isolators the the cup on the shock that can be moved to lower and raise ride height?
