Recently I had faulty crank shaft sensor such that the car would cut out as you were driving and I had it replaced.
Since then I have noticed an increase in MPG, or am I imagining it. Before I would average in the low 30s going to work etc, but now I find it hard to not get it into the high 30's or even low 40's.
Can this really come from a duff crank shaft sensor?
