W211 E55 audio problem

Hi everyone, I have a W211 E55 with a Harman Kardon sound system, and I'm experiencing an issue with my audio. When I start the COMAND system, the logo appears, but it shuts down. I've tried using an optical fiber loop on all possible connections, but it didn't help. I also have the Nokia phone option in the center console.

I received the error code 'D104 MOST component at position 4 reports open ring failure,' but I'm unsure what position 4 refers to—could it be the amplifier? Additionally, I found some random cables with fuses in the trunk and the connectors are just laying there?!. (I'll post a photo of those).

Also i need to note that i bought the car with this problem!

Looking at the photo, I'm wondering if the vehicle has had some previous mouse activity and whether the wires or the optic fibre MOST had been gauwned. I can clearly see some nibbling at the top of the foam and also the wiring leading to the connector has been wrapped with black tape. May need an auto electrician to look at it closely, it's a beyond my expertise.
