w212 Steering wheel swap into w204

I am considering swapping out my steering wheel, its the one thing i am really not keen on in my car for a AMG Sport trim the wheel is pretty poor in my opinion.

The W212 gets a much nicer wheel as well as the face lift W204, I have looked at the swap How To next door and it seem easy ish, however, i was wondering if this one (linked below) would be a direct swap given its pre facelift

Why not save yourself the pain of fitting a different wheel and just get yours re-trimmed by Royal Steering Wheels for around the same price and you can then specify exactly what you want. I had mine done on my CLS and Jack sourced another identical wheel, trimmed it the way I wanted (thicker padding and thumb grips, nappa leather, perforated hand grips) and then just swapped them over for £165. Faultless workmanship and a pleasure to hold.
