W213 ambient lighting

hello dear members, i need your help. I have a w213 and 3 days ago the ambient lighting of the center console (passenger side) stopped giving the correct color. When I open the car the color is red, green or blue (the three RGB colors) and when I start the car the light turns off on that side. I've removed the fuse for the ambient lighting but it's still the same. what could it be and how to fix it? thanks

The colour is made by mixing three colours of LED's. I suspect your BLUE LEDs are failing giving only a red stripe, rather than purple. It probably needs a replacement light strip.

when I open the car, it changes color (green, red or blue) the RGB colors, when soon the car turns off that light. could it be a software problem?

LED's often go open circuit when hot, so could work for 5-10-15 seconds, then fail.

It's why you often see failing LED lights flashing away.

Could be software, but never seen one do that.
