W215 Airmatic retrofit possibility

I know you can change a 2004 CL 600 from air to hydraulic spring suspension, the reason MB came away from the ABC system was that material flaking away from inside the pipes block and wreck the ABC,and then you get mechanics flushing the system charging a fortune and after a short while the system goes down again because you have to replace all the pipes and the pump, flushing does not remove all the debris, and so we got air suspension, posters are right the ABC system is better than air,it is just that it is a high cost system to maintain, but the cost has gone down alot in the past few years as companies have focus on the niche of supplying pumps and pipes cheaply

The 2004 CL600 never came with air, it was hydraulic, all w215’s have ABC hydraulic suspension from the factory.

Didn't the North American market get air instead of hydraulic from factory?

Well I am a bit puzzled I am sure my cousin who has lived in the states for the last 30 years told me he had his CL600 changed from air,I just googled this and there are sites saying the exact same thing, but hey I have never owned a UK or US CL600,I do know that the ABS system is a pain in the wallet when it goes wrong

Got a link? The w215 didn’t come with airmatic anywhere.
