Hello All,

I am a new member--just registered today--although I have referred to your forums many times in the past seeking information.

I hope this question isn't against policy or etiquette ...

I have a pair of W220 S-Class facelift Bi-Xenon headlights removed from a previous car. I was going to install them on my current car, but have decided to sell them instead. They came off a 1999 S55 AMG.

I know these headlights are north of a grand each new, but have no idea of their value second hand, so was hoping for some guidance as to what sort of price I could sell them for.

If MBClub has a sales forum, I am more than happy to list them here as well.

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Kind regards.

OK, thank you, understood. Obviously I can't list them here. Does that also mean my request for guidance on pricing as against forum etiquette? If so, I'll withdraw it.

Are you sure they are bi xenons? I think these were only introduced on the W220 in 2002. Could just be xenon.

The CL w215 was the first car to have bi xenons, introduced in 1999, but the s class was later.

Not 100%, but they are facelift headlights, and all the information I can find indicates that are Bi-Xenon. The previous owner of my old S55 AMG had them installed. When I sold it I removed them and reverted the car to it's standard headlights, as I had plans to install them on my current car. However, those plans never eventuated.

That's the answer then...they are facelifts put in by the previous owner...thus, most likely, bi xenon.

Hello renault12ts, Thank you for your guidance.
