Does W221 system have aux air chambers? My C219 had small crack/leak on both rear chamber connection.

looks like it... it will be a pain to track thou has some lines go inside the car and to get to Airmatic tops at the rear you have to remove the seats!
Time to go see a specialist for airmatic. Pay the price and sleep peacefully.

I will checkthe airlines 1st, just to make sure that I did not miss anything
Did you finally get the air suspension sorted on your W221?

I have exactly the same symptoms on my CL (C216/W221 era) and am contemplating going straight for coilover replacements rather than chasing faults.

I think you are ABC rather than Air suspension buddy

Well as you say your rear height is the same but lower, and you have changed that ride height sensor,I suggest you jack up the rear nearside of the car and get a once only strap and tie it around the arm of that sensor and set the arm in a different position either up a little or down and then get it off the jack and start the car up and see what happens to the rear,if it changes height then that new sensor is not set up properly at this stage in the saga anything is worth a try and all it costs is 10 mins jacking up the car and a 20 p plastic once only.

Ah - yes. Same symptoms tho. High on two shocks, low on two. No immediately obvious faults or leaks. Took it to a MB dealer who unhelpfully couldn't find a fault and left me a note saying "something must be faulty, can't diagnose what".
