Had the front left lower ball joint arm thingy changed last month, and last weeks MOT failure resulted in the front right arm being changed too as "too much play in bottom ball joint"
Back in my old BMW days, when changing such parts there was a price difference between the cheaper steel parts and more expensive alloy version.
Does that hold true for Mercedes? Both my new arms are magnetic so presumably steel. (despite me telling the garage I wasn't bother about cost)
Maybe the're all steel?
