Hi guys does the ecu cause a non start scenario if there is a glow plug fault ? reason for asking after two diagnostic visits and being told there was a glow plug issue i tested the glow plugs and found one plug open circuit after initailly inspecting and voltage testing the glow plug module and finding it working fine ,all wires checked out and all plugs tested having found one faulty.I can see a fault registers in the fault registry on the ecu which i can not see on my diagnostic reader but there is only three wires on the control side of the module i know one is a 12 volt switching line and one i assume is ground is the third a data link to the ecu ?
