Hi I have a w639 115cd compact , 58 plate. I am having an issue with the double seat of the 2+1. The middle seat won't release to fold flat. Therefore it won't allow the double seat to tilt forwards. The lever between the seats that releases the back mo es but feels as though its not connected to any thing. Its difficult to see the mechanism as its buried in the seat. Any help or tips would be gratefully recieved. Its a major inconvenience right now. Thanks in advance. Martin

The rear lever when pulled up acts on a bar underside and within the base of the seat.
If you push down on that bar it will open the hooks within the floor rails and allow the back of the seat to be pulled up.

Hi thanks for the response. It's the lever at the front between the seats that is not working. This one lowers the seat back, which needs to be done before you can pull the lever to the rear to lift the seat. I'll be lying under the seat thus weekend figuring it out.

I'll check again later but pretty sure that's not how they work.
While in place the seats need to be released at the back and tilted from the back.
Then the front 2 levers are flipped up to release the hooks from the floor rail,
and then lift seat out.
