Hey, I am after a W164 ML63. If you have one that you're thinking of selling please do let me know.

Thanks

Thank you for the replies.

I'm finding prices a bit all over the place, and some private sellers being way off and charging the same amount as dealers. Really wanted one, but when my car sold he had part ex'd it and that same company are now asking for £3,000 more and won't budge on price. I really like the car, just don't like how they are dealing with me, so far ignored my requests for service history etc.

I rang them and offered them £13.5k which is still more than what it was originally listed for by the seller hoping we could do a deal and I would drive up the very next day, they refused and now aren't being that helpful.

Let me know whats available guys, as I would much prefer to buy from an enthusiast.

The legendary m156 - superb choice.
Thank you. I almost got one in C63 guise a few years back but decided to go for an E63 AMG which was absolutely amazing. Now with kids getting taller and needing more things in the boot, the ML63 makes sense. Finding one is proving to be tricky though

But please do reach out @Bobby Dazzler as I would much prefer to purchase from a forum member
I’ve just replied to your message 👍🏻

If there’s anything you’d like to know about ML 63 generally then post them in this thread and I’ll try my best to answer them.

There’s a few on eBay too. A lovely Japanese import with 33k miles looks nice 👌
I've never owned an import, but when I was checking supposedly import cars are a little more costly to insure. Thanks for the heads up though

There’s a silver one advertised in the latest Mercedes Enthusiast mag. MY2007. No price listed though. Discs and pads renewed less than 3k miles ago.

Hi , I have a grey import from Japan ( exhaust emissions could now be problematic ) but superb car but would not touch one again.

Such a shame but I believe the risk is far to great.

My car was recalled by the DVLA ( 1995 ) for a steering issue and all paid for by Mitsubishi.

Cannot see Mercedes offering any financial help to an owner of a 1995 car.

Please be very careful when considering a grey import , if you buy make sure your eyes are wide open !

But the Japanese import ones are the same ones everyone gets , with obvious 'Japanese stuff' . Built in Alabama USA . But if post #17 is typical of problems that might pop up with a Japanese market car, might best be avoided ?
