Warning lights

I have an 09 CLK 200 Kompressor. On New Year's Eve ALL the dashboard warning lights LIT UP like a Xmas tree. Car was running ok but dash lights wouldn't turn off, even after removing key and locking it. AA couldn't find anything wrong with fuses battery etc. as I couldn't get get car booked into garage until Monday decided to disconnect battery to to see if that worked. After reconnecting battery got nothing on dash, completely blank. However on restarting ON Monday car to get to garage, dash came on as if nothing has happened , everything working fine. Do I need to go to garage for diagnosis, or was it just a computer glitch that needed a reboot? Any advice would be welcome, thanks

You could leave it and see if it happens again but personally I'd want the codes read on a proper MB STAR machine to determine if there was an underlying cause which is likely to return, usually at the most inconvenient time!
