What is the general opinion of warranties? I have been looking through the forum and the name Warrantydirect has come up a few times.
Is it worth getting a warranty (I am looking at buying a mid '90s SL280/320), what sort of things are covered and what aren't? I have heard that roof motors/hydraulics aren't covered.
Also, what sort of costs should I expect to pay for servicing? I know a good, reliable and cheap, independent garage near me. Am I better off going there or to MB?
