Was interesting to experience a modern Merc today

Courtesy car whilst the van's in for a service today; a 2025 Mercedes CLA 250e, 160 bhp from a 1.3 litre (!) petrol engine combined with a 110 bhp electric motor to make a combined 220 bhp

(those figures don't actually add up, but that was from the internet).
Otherwise unimpressed; too many 'driver aids' constantly intruding & the engine sounds rough

Good to see Mercedes have now gone back to some tactile switches instead of full touchscreens though
