Water pump

Coolant level warning came on today. Pretty sure it's water pump leaking can see white residue under pump. Seems a common issue on the 0651 engine. Too late to ring round for prices. Anyone any idea what I'm looking at from an independent to supply and fit? Also anything to watch out for

Funkyboy Well i can see you have an E class but you know what ,,,there are so many E class cars . What is the car ? year etc nothing in your profile only E class . Its easy to search to help you but we do need this info to do so .

Not a big job, had it done on mine a couple of years ago. think it came in around £300 using a genuine Merc pump. ONLY use the genuine as Mercedes have redesigned it with a metal housing, aftermarket pumps are plastic and low quality.

They also leak around the fuel filter housing where it is bolted to the head/intake so worth checking its not that to.

Yeah noticed that. Mercedes Edinburgh has them for £159.
