Wattsapp messages in the car

I can get 'normal' text messages through the car but I cant seem to get them if sent on wattsapp. How do I do this please? Thanks

The only way I've seen is if you are using android auto and have the WhatsApp app (Probably the same with apple versions).

You need to ask a Tory MP, they seem to have WhatsApp figured out
