We've been looking for a while for a car to replace my wife's C-Max, which has been excellent apart from some quality issues. Some time ago we test drove an A150 and were distinctly underwhelmed, mainly because of the driving position & lack of performance. Yesterday we decided to test drive a used A180 CDI Elegance, but this time with an auto box too - and what a difference a little more spec and the diesel engine/auto combination. My wife said that if she didn't know better she'd have sworn it was a different car.
Upshot is that we've got an A180CDI Elegance Auto, 5 months old with only 3700 miles for £14k(from a stealership), which makes you question why you'd ever buy new! Of course we don't get to choose exactly what we want, but then we aren't so well off to overlook the best part of £6k saving over new.
