Needed new wiper blades so I decided to get them from the MB dealer about 25 miles away.
Absolutely pouring with rain so took it easy and got 48mpg on the round trip.Wipers were £2 cheaper than Halfords.

Make the most of being at MB so had a good look around, a bit disappointed really, nothing there to make me want to change my C207.(ie nothing anywhere near my budget :o)
I had been thinking of another C207 in Brilliant Blue and they had a new "C" class coupe in that colour but in the flesh it didn't really do anything for me, probably gone from the top of my list of colours to somewhere near the bottom. The "C" coupe itself didn't really get my pulse going and after sitting on the "rear bench"( you couldn't sit "in" it and it felt as if you were on a bench) that was now off the list.
Next sat in a very nice silver CLA ,comfortable driving position and everything in the right place. Went and sat in the back , "o my god", I hope I never have to travel in the back of one of these , that sloping rear pillar obscures about 60% of your view out, it's like being permanently in a tunnel.
The new GLC , very impressed, beautifully finished inside and out in a dark blue with black leather , the one car that I liked but no price and spec.

Was in my local showroom last week and like you the GLC is one that caught my eye.

Showrooms are dangerous. When ordering my GLC despite having seen the photos and thinking it looked better with 20s and running boards I had convinced myself I didn't want them (suite trousers always get dirty off running boards, limits clearance, ride and cost of tyres/less options on winter tyres for the 20s) - that is until I saw the one in a different dealers showroom with 20s and running boards, I immediately added both to the order, lol.

James.

The one I saw today had 20's and running boards, the running boards totally change the look of the car and looked great against the dark bodywork.

The GLC is very much in proportion, really like the look of them.

The GLE, along with with the GLA, just looks a mess, the coupe even more so.

Exactly what swung me as I've ordered a black one.
