Weston-Super-Mare/Bridgwater - garage or mobile specialist?

Looking for someone yo do some work on my E250 cdi. Unfortunately a previous owner had a lot of bodge work done (silicone instead of correct gaskets, clips missing etc etc) so the local specialists i have tried in wsm and up to bristol have refused to work on it. I was going to do the work needed myself so bought some the parts from the dealer but that makes the situation worse.

I want someone who knows the OM651 engine to put it all back as it should be after fixing some common parts like the oil cooler and throttle body, check waterpump, belts etc.

Sounds worse than it is but i just want someone who will clip everything back how it should be and replace any missing clips and incorrect fasteners. Local specialists i have tried so far dont want the hassle, which is disappointing but i can see it from their perspective.

Sadly if i cant get anyone the car will have to be sold at auction as a non-runner as i dont have the time myself.

Thanks, wont go into details but i suspect they will also not want this job. Which does make me wonder if anyone will. Maybe i should list the car here as spares/repairs for anyone who wants to take it on while it still has an mot

What’s the cost of having all the work done vs the cost of the car if you sell it as is ?

Thats what i need to work out. I figure the labour will be £1k+, already spent a few hundred on the 3 main parts, will need gaskets and other sundries. Also needs new front springs (got some new bilstein oem spec to go on). The car is a lovely spec with £12k of options when new including full real leather and the black alcantara roof and stitched dash.

But lets face it, a 2011 e class is not a desirable car, so fixed up it's probably worth £4.5k tops? 160k miles e250 cdi sport eu5. Other options include full pano roof, memory seats. Rear camera, comand, road sign camera, sports suspension and brakes etc.

Current faults: leaking fuel pipe from the filer to the pump, oil cooler weeping, throttle body cracked, 1 broken spring (have all those bits). Its had a new inlet manifold, egr system completely cleaned out, new egr actuator, always serviced with mercedes oil and mahle/mann filters, always use genuine dealer parts unless there is a better option (eg meyle hd drop links) and on MO Pirelli p zeros.

Rear bumper also needs a repair as it turns out the previous owner pranged the rear and had it filled and badly painted and it needs redoing so all in it needs about £2k of work?
