Ah, so you have a car where it DOES actually work !!!!!!!! Never seen that before.

I've only ever used it by accident ... the rocker switch is next to the knob that turns the lights on and off! It's meant for negotiating rough tracks etc., but in the past I have (carefully) taken the car down a few of those in the normal position, without any problems. The handling is 'interesting' with it raised (there are 2 selectable steps), it drops back down automatically above a certain speed. There's also a switch to completely lock the suspension when you jack the car. Without it the wheels hang right down.
