What does this switch do?

<div class="bbWrapper">I have a 2004 CLK. I’ve found a switch and I can’t figure out what it’s for!<br /> In the centre console storage box there is a light grey sliding switch. It’s on the left hand side panel, towards the front. What is it for??</div>
