I would assume that if you can get one out, then you can fit it elsewhere! The blind spot assist is in the bumper? I do have blind spot assist and distronic plus but thought that only uses the grill mount.
Are all the bumpers interchangeable? Can I take my little box out whatever it is and put in another bumper?
It's a radar unit, probably works for emergency braking, blind spot and all other safety systems fitted. You are right it's the blind spot sensor managed to pry it out an there's a part no on the other side... how does that see your blind spots?!
Anyway do I need a specific bumper or can I attatch it to a new one?
Cool thanks is there only supposed to be one? Or one on the other side too? Lost the other half of the bumper on the motorwayIt's a radar unit, probably works for emergency braking, blind spot and all other safety systems fitted.
Not sure about the front, but I think the rear has two (one each side). Probably depends on how many options the car was fitted with.Cool thanks is there only supposed to be one? Or one on the other side too? Lost the other half of the bumper on the motorway
The other numbers probably (amongst other things) denote a coded date of manufacture and the coding for the type of plastic material used. The part number is the important thing.legend, will check this!
If I need another one do you know if they are plug and play, is it just the part number that has to match (a000 905 00 10) or does one of the other umpteen numbers on it have to aswell?
