I would use a fully synthetic oil that conforms to the 229.1 specs like Mobile 1 5W 40
GTX is a mineral oil and Magnatec I think is also a mineral but with additives.
They will both be considerably cheaper than a full synth like Mobil 1.
But what does the handbook say?
Most owners of modern Mercs will only use full synthetics, not mineral because of the better qualities for engine wear over extended servicing intervals.
But if your handbook allows it, you could go for the cheaper mineral based oil.
