What you think of THIS kit ?

It dosn't look like a natural progression, it looks too aftermarket, as if it's glued on imho.

Its amazing what you can do to a Vectra these days;)

Don't like it - sorry. :)

Looks a little tacky for my liking, a bit too 'aftermarket' if you know what I mean.

Will

Them spinner type alloy wheel attachments would top it off lovely.

Could you guys tell me whats added on to the car besides the 19" MAG and front lip ?
Cos its looks very stock to me, what you guys think ?

I think the body kit is fine - it's the outsize chromed alloys and the overly dropped suspension that spoils it for me.
I like alloys (not chrome) and some lowering is OK, but when the rear wheel rim is hidden inside the arches I think it's gone too low.

You must remember that those are 19"s  on those so theres not much of a drop needed.

Meaning what? bigger wheels means smaller profile tyres and what looks like more arch gap when you're done!

Do you own a C-class and are you thinking of getting one of these kits?

There are a multitude of visual modifications on this specific car that even us E-class owners can spot.

Thats true but not always, normally we take a standard tyre with profile for eg. 205/50/15 than we go one bigger 205/45/16 which look like the same gap between tyre and arch, but when jumping 2 bigger 215/45/17 than that gap gets tighter. now imgaine a 245/45/18 ! Thats take the gap away.

Are they really only 19s? The wheels look bigger than 19s with 35 section rubber. Mibbee it's the photo, or it could be my eyes of course

Surely the drop in ride height would still be needed, unless you get oversized tyres, as the circumference of a suitable set of tyres (regardless of rim size) will be about the same, give or take a millimetre or two.

Thats why i said ' there's not much of a drop needed ' ;)

Spoke to the styler now and he told me the car is not dropped !

Just to continue the debate, att. is a pic of my G3 VR6 with 205/45/16's and i will be going bigger probably 215/40/17 , do you think i will get the same space between the tyre and arch ? Im sure i will have the same amount space as im going from a 45 profile to a 40. BUT if i was going on 18's ??

The overall tyre diameter (wheel diameter plus tyre sidewall/tread etc) should be exactly the same for a particular car no matter what wheels are used. If they're not then the speedo won't be right, the wheel/tyre might physically collide with something in the wheel-well and your insurance company won't want to speak to you ever again :)

When you decrease the tyre profile and therefore the tyre sidewall you make the arch gap *look* bigger. It's an optical illusion but it does make the gap look bigger.
