If you add your year of birth to your age you get this year!

Happens every 1,000 years but no one can explain why.

So you're born in 2000. After 1 year, you're 1, so you add 1 to 2000 and it comes up with 2001. The same thing happens the following year, when 2 + 2000 = 2002. There's a surprise!

Strangely enough, if you subtract the year of your birth from this year, you get your age if you've already had your birthday this year.

If you subtract the year of your birth from next year, you get your age if you haven't already had your birthday this year.

It doesn't work for dogs, though...

Doesn't work for my dog! He is not Golden and the 7 years per human year rule works even when he's a Border Collie
Or is that Bordeaux collie....
He does like to relax a little, last night he was relaxed as a newt
