Wheels\/ tyres for my ML (20" or bigger)

Probably goes against a lot of what people think but I like large wheels, upgraded almost every car with larger / wider tyres etc. I prefer the looks.

Anyway even the Bus I think would look better with bigger wheels so am toying with the idea of what I could get.

My qustion is with a 9.5 * 20" Rim could I fit 295/40/20's ok?

I have to say this bus is the only car for a long time I've not had to worry about kerbs... and thats quite a nice thing.

There's a fine line I reckon with upgrading alloys on big 4x4s. It doesn't take much to lose the classy look and go brash/pimped...tread carefully (if you pardon the pun)

Your right and certain times I do think the alloys on ours are fine, they are easy to clean and like I say kerbs pose no threat. Compared to my last car with 35 profile tyres....eeek

I've seen some MLs with larger Merc wheels (one looked slightly SLRish in style which looked quite good actually). I really like the style of the Inspiration wheels, but I can't shift the brake dust encrusted on the inner side of them...any tips? I may have to take the wheels off to get to them?
