Where is the handsfree mic on a W212 (pre-facelift)?

Hi,

Is it in the overhead bit, near the buttons for the cabin lights? I am being told that I'm hard to hear when using hands free calling, and wonder if it/the grille cover needs a clean.

I thought it was the space to the left of the steering wheel (there's a little grille) - that was blocked up when I first got the car, but turns out that's the ambient temp sensor.

On a US MB forum they seem to mention some holes in/near the rear view mirror, but I can't see any.
