Which rear spoiler?

I'm looking to buy a rear spoiler for my W124CE.

I dont really like the spermarket trolly handle type and would much prefer a 'lip' style spoiler. I love the AMG ducktail - but cant seem to find one.

Does anyone either know where I can lay my hands on an AMG ducktail, or have any other suggestions on a nice lip spoiler for a W124?

They don't have *anything* for the w124 though, the w210 bootspoiler might fit, but that's a "shopping trolly" style one!

You need a custom made one Sp!ke!

I tend to agree with Motard, Spoilers are exactly that, why ruin the lines of a nice car with something alien. Having said that I am in the market for a back panel off a 124 coupe, just to sort out the numberplate.

I agree that most spoilers just look like some boy racer bolt on rubbish. However, IMO some spoilers really set the W124's off - but there arnt many that do.

The 'Ducktail' really does it for me, it retains the cars boxy shape but subtely changes the lines in an aggressive manner. If you dont know what a ducktail is, check out the one below.

I have seen 3 W124s AMG originals in my arear - 2 convertibles (silver and azurite blue) and a coupe (also in Azurite blue) - they "ducktail" spolier finished them off nicely and the cars actually looked really stunning with the AMG kit, weels, exhaust etc (very rare too as there are not too many W124 orginal AMGs about on the roads - well I havent seen many anyway...)

Part number is 905220031 and costs £48.51

(There's an AMG one on www.ebay.de at the moment (its down as Germany only auction, but I've usually found a polite email and people will often send abroad) but it looks like it will come out a bit expensive;could be worth keeping an eye on www.ebay.de if you definately want an AMG one, search for 'Heckspoiler W124' there are a few nice (non AMG) ones on there at the moment.
