1998 Mercedes-Benz C 240 2.4 auto+1 OWNER FROM NEW! on eBay, also, Mercedes-Benz, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-May-09 13:34:31 BST)

This seller states the service history is complete, last serviced at 99,700 miles. There is a small blister just beginning on the nearside rear wheel arch which we are happy to get treated for you. The present MOT has had advisorys issued but we don't have the pink slip so we don't know what they are. However as the MOT is due for renewal in June we are happy to put 12 months MOT on the car for you

1998 MERCEDES C240 SPORT AUTO SILVER AMG LOOKS,YEAR MOT on eBay, also, Mercedes-Benz, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 02-Jun-09 18:54:19 BST)

This seller states there is no rust about the car but the bonnet has been painted at some point. Service history is complete but date/mileage at last service wasn't to hand when he answered my query. Also happy to MOT car prior to sale.

The elegance is better specced and looks like a more honest example but the Sport looks better and has genuine AMG wheels by the look of it. I would also prefer the silver colour over green so would take the Sport and retrofit the heated seats :thumb: I know that would be a pain to retrofit though.

I agree! :)

You would look old before your time in the green one:D

Sport of course ;)

But a bit pricey.

Sillver one, but both seem bit pricey! Good Luck in your search though, you can get that and more for under £2k these days.

Deffo the Sliver Sport, the interior of the Green is nasty...!

The Sport models sit better, look better and have nicer interiors ;) - Lose the dodgy AMG badge and fit an Avantarde grill and it will look great. (Not that im baised of course) - Check my gallery in my sig.

Those wheels are Genuine AMG + it has the wheelarch lips.

Caution though!
I see theres some trim in the passenger footwell, its the drivers side footwell vent, also I can see the passenger side is loose. The reason? The dash may have been removed for access - electrical fault? Aircon/heater trouble? or its had a leaky footwell? Somthing to ask if you have a look...

After viewing it, make sure deep down your really keen on it, as good W202s arent that rare... yet!

I hope this helps!

For the last three years or so the MOT system has been electronic, so as long as you know the vehicle registration & know the number of the last MOT you can input them and see the cars MOT history together with any failures/retests & advisories. The site is run by VOSA. Here's a link.

Id forgotten how high Elegance's ride :)

One more thing to add, on a test drive if the 2.4 V6 doesnt feel like a V6 and slightly sluggish then the MAS is on its way out (£150). When I got a new one on mine, it was like a new car.
