Am changing to new pc's following disaster with existing.
I use Windows Mail at the moment, has it changed to Windows Live Mail ? Confusing...

yep. I got a forced change from Outlook Express on my Vista machine more than a year ago. On the plus side Live mail works well IMO.

Yes and it is not installed as part of the OS installation so you will need to go to the url below to download it.

Mail - Windows Live

Thanks guys

Am starting to migrate stuff across.

It came installed on the machine.

Yes, Windows Live Mail has a baffling mixture of useful and annoying changes compared to Outlook Express and Windows Mail. Most annoying (for me) is that it creates a complete set of default folders for every email account. Previously there was just one Deleted (e.g.) folder shared by all accounts.

I'm just about used to it after 2-3 months.

John, if you use spellcheck in Live Mail, you made find a glitch along the lines of incorrect language selected. If so, go to tools, options and then select the required language in the spelling tab (don't know if geordie is featured or not!!!).
