I have a 2006 vito duel liner LWB, and want to fit rear side windows and a rear set of seats.
I have fitted the seat straight in to the floor clips.
Looking for advice on the rear side windows, if anyone can help.

Regards

There are quite a few firms that can do this, the exposed metal needs to be properly treated, the the rubber seal carefully fitted, but it's not a massive job.

Or did you plan on attempting this DIY? Getting straight (I.e. not curved) automtive safety glass cut to size should not be a problem, again quite a few firms will do this for you. Or you could stick to original/OEM glass. The metal needs to be cut in such a way as to not impact on the rigidity of the structure.

And don't forget to notify your insurer......... possibly also the DVLA though I am not sure .

Why not buy the genuine Mercedes parts. Both the Vito and the Viano are fitted with the long rear windows? Don't know about the Vito but the rear windows of the Viano open electrically.

Or you can get manual opening rear windows as well. Try Mercedes as you may get a surprise, otherwise on auction sites they come up from time to time but as it's been mentioned above about telling DVLA you will find that your road tax will probably double as Vianos (due to having all windows) are a different classification to a Dualiner

Forgotten what the road tax for our Vito was but the Viano is currently £540!!!!!

If you can,get the windows from a breaker and make a template whilst there.

My Vito is around £225 for road tax but the Viano & Travelliner can be used as a Executive Taxi hence the hike in Road Tax
