I have been having the dreaded ABS/ESP/DSC etc lights come on. Carsoft pointed me a few times to wheel speed sensors which are easy to change and this used to solve the problem.
Now however, the lights come on and I can clear the codes and they go off and come back on at a random time later.
I checked live data with Carsoft and under steering angle get either an accurate reading or it flashes Fault Drehratensensor 5336/6058.
This seems to be the Yaw rate sensor which is under the driver's seat and there is a video here to show how to change it

I am not 100% sure it is this but when I get the warning lights now the wheel speeds are all OK.
So, before I get stuck in, anyone any other ideas?

thanks

Can you switch off ESP and if it doesn't work is it dangerous? I have heard stories about the car suddenly braking

Since I have no error codes, how can I know if it is the yaw rate sensor or the ESP module?
