This forum, bar one or two genuine posters offers little meaningful assistance or opinion. After reading several posts in the thread, it made me cringe considering that I am being doubted on many fronts. In actual fact, in the past and recently regarding my CLS, the doubters have been put to...

The fact is the W219 wasnt face-lifted until 2010, so difficult to determine whether the car is 2005 or 2010. I wont get into a d**k measuring contest. I do love when the band wagon gets going, theres no stopping it with piggy back rides.

Beginning with customer service and recognising that each have their varying needs. As am part of a multinational turning over £45,000,000 a year, the clients I meet, discuss business with and later drive around expect no less than a lux car and frankly I find it a disadvantage to drive a B...

Ive ordered a Ghibli, I can cover ownership when its my fault, but look after the pennies and the pounds.... What I detest is being told one thing and something else being the case, you can sit behind a keyboard and advise others but is this really how you would feel should the situation be...

It would help if you actually understood the situation. MB claim to conduct an inspection, visual or otherwise and the fact is they didn't as it is logged on the checklist. Beyond this, visually there is oily residue likely derived from one of the suspension components. The facts are the...

@ Dieselman, hi-jacking as usual and I know I am not alone in saying that. The rules are simple, if you dont like another thread, avoid flaming and the fire will extinguish naturally. I am only asking what others would expect in a similar situation.

Simply one perspective, yes. From a dealer pov, surely its logical to give a customer a relative model, especially if this customer is experiencing persistant problems with his "older" model? If I was a Sales Executive, I would be licking my fingers for a future sale.

This is true if I felt entirely to blame for the repair, e.g skipped a service interval or something. A service carried out last month failed to inspect essential components, likely making MB somewhat liable for the repair currently. I feel in this case the least they can offer for...

MB have given me a B class courtesy car while my CLS is being repaired. The B is an excellent car for a family of 4 or a pensioner but for a busy professional with clients that expect a lux saloon pick up etc its not suitable. Am I warranted to request a better car as I am convinced if a new...

    URGENT airmatic

well in light of the issue currently, I am blaming it partly on the lack of attention suspension received during servicing just 1 month ago. As a joe bloggs, I am certain these types of issues simply do not occur, there must be a chain of events and even the recovery guy has spotted oily...

i'll await diagnosis, but regarding servicing, if MB say suspension components will be checked, what might this include at the very least?

They cant diagnose until Monday. Your's is the most expensive ive seen to date, just browsing, what was wrong, must have been very big?

Yes the issue is this though, they wont provide courtesy cars, warranty likely to be weaker to non-existent given it will be a 'fix'. I understand the pit falls of dealerships but they exist to fill the voids not given by indies sadly.
