You will not be able to extract the oil via the filler cap. Are you sure there is not a little red vent plug under the engine cover ? This will be the dipstick tube.

Exactly that ! When I fitted 17 inch wheels to my S-type to replace the 16 inch the speedo read the exact same speed as the GPS.

The aftermarket unit will need two signals FM and DAB.
