    SL55 ABC valve block

Hi all I have the dreaded ABC valve block issue causing my SL55 to drop at the rear drivers side overnight. Is there a reliable alternative to shelling out for genuine Mercedes parts or do I have to just bite the bullet?! Have seen some refurbished units and rebuild kits on ebay - any success...

Yeah The E63 really is a beauty, drives SO well. Having owned E55k estates previously when this came up locally I had to have a look! Dam thats stunning! What been done to make it sound like that?!

    S211 E55K Estate on AT

Ive always read huge debates about the M113k vs M156... To be honest 90% of the time they feel really similar to me, the M113k hits harder earlier whereas the 6.2 gathers pace and feels like it just gets quicker and quicker - once its on a charge there is no stopping it - relentless power that...

    S211 E55K Estate on AT

Interesting discussions going on here... especially as I own the blue E63 Estate for sale at the moment! Ive owned two E55k estates, a C63 Estate 6.2, amongst other fast estates/saloons and Mercedes E class estates. For me at around the £10k price mark an E55k estate is hard to beat, is my E63...

I have just bought a Tanzanite Blue S211 E63 AMG Estate in the last few weeks. Its a lovely thing - mega spec - have had a few E55k Estates in the past and couldnt resist a go in the E63. Never seen another one in real life. E63

s211 e55k How many on the forum??

My old estate had Eisenmann boxes fitted, had to be modified to fit the car as the estate is longer! Sounded fantastic but was a bit drony. i think if you want C63 boxes you have to make the tailpipes a little longer so they dont sit just behind the rear diffuser and roast it (like mine did!)...

    A familiar E55k Estate rehomed!

Hi Jamie Thanks - the car has been behaving and really put itself in the middle of family life, my hankering for an E60 M5 has passed slightly, for now anyway. After I sold my last 55 estate my most commonly used phrase was "its not an easy car to replace that". There is very little else that...

    A familiar E55k Estate rehomed!

After thinking about it for all of about 3 minutes I made the move to buy a forum members old E55k Estate a few days before I went on holiday mid July. Having owned a beautiful E55k estate in Obsidian Black and selling it for all the wrong reasons it's been one of those cars that is one of my...

Quite interested in this at the right price... apart from low spec and shitty parking sensors anything else obviously 'wrong' about the car?

Yeah you just need to make sure you get EVERYTHING out the boot of the donor car and its pretty easy. I sold my 55 wagon last year and have pretty much found it to be irreplaceable. I WILL be buying another soon, this one looks lovely.
