I have bought a snow foam from jennychem. Based in Kent.
I like the initial snow foam method. If I 2-bucket wash with a prewash the grime in the second bucket is slight. I go straight in with rinse and 2 bucket wash then the second bucket if very dirty. So overall I do think a snow foam...
advice.
currently my routine: snow foam > rinse > autoglym shampoo using 2 bucket > rinse > dry.
Now used up my autoglym and was looking at a new shampoo. In the mood to try something different. I noticed a lot of "foaming shampoos". In fact sutoglymn do one. Folk seem to apply these via a...
I've always sold privately. Enjoyed the experience. Almost always the first to see has bought. I price fairly. However, last car went with WBAC. I just couldn't argue with the price
I agree that regular servicing is a sign of an owner that has maintained an interest in the vehicle.
However, in the case of something as tightly tuned as a C63S regular servicing is essential. . I have never been a snob about main dealer servicing. The service package from MB works out...
It's a 2019 C63s. Purchased by me in 2022. It's got 38k on it now. In terms of how long I plan on keeping it.....with ICE going out in say 5y I was honestly thinking of keeping it as a long termer. `indefinitely. There is nothing like it for me. I love the roar and brutality of it. It's...
update, got a 3 service+MOT contract. Costs £66 a month for 36 months = £2376 in total
B service done at Southend. This was the y6 B service (6th service from new), All covered in the service contract but the following was done
B service
Brake fluid
Transmission oil change
Air filter
Spark...
Use Waze. Almost always. Even when driving on my regular trips.
My only criticism is warnings at motorway speed happen about 200m away where they can use a gun from further away. As in, I would like the warning to be further back on higher speed roads
another thing; on the online booking system it asks you early on the select if your in a service plan or not.
If you click not, it takes you to a quote with "additional items"
Is there any way, if you were in a plan the computer might suggest you don't need the same works done?
Would that be outside a plan?
Within a plan there would be little point unless you bought parts for additional works.
Would most main dealers allow this?
Funny enough it was MB Southend where the quote came from..
The plan is cheap. £2376 for 3 services which would be B>A>B. Includes MOT’s which might be a rip off as they find work that does not need doing
Seems so but the service plan would cover the base price of the service wouldn't it? All the additional work would also be "additional" on top of the service package
So the main dealer where car was serviced last year (A service for £500 ish) emails me inviting to book for a B service.
I start the online process. Quote was £1800! I fell over.
Once resuscitated I looked more closely. It was 1k and 4 things had been added on which could be de-selected. Brake...
Confused by the number of different products on offer. There are loads of variants for t-cut alone. Could you send links to exactly what you would irder? Thanks a lot
Advice needed please
Family MPV; black colour; was driven in a tight country land and has scratches all down one side from hedgerow.
Does not look like the paint itself is scratched.
Would like advice on how to remove these? Will it need a machine polish and if so what exact product would you...
