All the AMG's I've owned (C36, C63S and my present E63S) have been to the dealer network and specialist indy outfits - I tend to make the decision based on where I might be in a given service plan and what I actually need doing. <br />
<br />
For instance, my E63 went for service at Inchcape Nottingham this year, because I was fortunate enough to inherit a service plan with one remaining service from the previous owner (saving me approximately £1k). But, next year I'll likely take it to my chosen indy because they are cheaper for servicing and 'out of band' work than the dealer network, as well as being more honest and accomodating when something unexpected happens.
