£1800 for b service!

Funny enough it was MB Southend where the quote came from..

The plan is cheap. £2376 for 3 services which would be B>A>B. Includes MOT’s which might be a rip off as they find work that does not need doing

But, next year I'll likely take it to my chosen indy because they are cheaper for servicing and 'out of band' work than the dealer network, as well as being more honest and accomodating when something unexpected happens.

In exceptional circumstances some dealers would, where parts have no availability date or no longer available.

Smart no longer supply the fuel filter for the Roadster and you have to buy the whole tank to replace the filter as part of a scheduled service. They refused to supply and fit a aftermarket filter.

I checked with my usual Mercedes main dealer - which is part of a completely separate dealer group - and they said that they would have said the same thing if they were still a Smart dealer too.
