Does any body no if what the alignment markings look like for setting the chamshafts up after taking them of. Mercedes say there is a groove in them that line up with the head, but theres no grooves on mine. please help!:confused:

190E cosworth parts. All I'm have a garage clear out as I dont own one anymore and I have had my days of fun and games with them. Some of the part I have I'm basicaly just giving them away. These are the parts I have left over 3 doors (no Motors and no driver door) Almandine red Bootlid...

I have a problem with this car as it will not idel and just switches off and if I keep it reved up, its rev ok units I let go of the throttle. These are the things I have done. Compression is fine in all 4 cylinders, Spark is fine, Rev up OK, does not miss, spark gap is fine Tappets are OK...

Is this the cause of the constant timing change Not enough to grip to hold the chain

is this possible? would it be more difficult if the car has already got cruise control? lastly is it even worth it!??

camshafts out broke on one end worn on one side of sprocket, could this put the timing out over time

Any one know where i can get a workshop manual for a 2.3 16v cosworth 190e. I bought it as a non runner for the body kit but i would like to fix it.

I own a 2.5 16v with 120.000 on the clock FMBSH, but this has not had a timing chain replacement, any idea when this should be changed ?
