i have just bought a 1985 230 ce milage of 145000 since purchasing i have replaced the air filter spark plugs, oil & filter and topped up the gearbox fluid, and a number of fuses (which fixed alot of problems namly no horn! ) the problem i have is that when the engine revs are high, say...

I've been offered a 1991 w124 230ce coupe with 95k on clock, auto, air con, leather, 17in AMG replica alloys and history for £2k. Is this a good price and is there anything I should look out for? I've heard the timing chain on the engine of these can be a bit iffy, is that true? thanks...

Posted on behalf of Howard. A white '92 230 coupe, Black leather,17" AMG replica alloys, its been lowered about 40mm I reckon as you cant even get a finger between the tyre and the arch! I've put the clear front and side indicators on (the side repeaters have quad orange LED bulbs in them)...
