I'm normally pretty adept at sorting out mechnical/electric problems, but this time I'm stumped. I've also learnt over the years not just replace electronic parts until I can prove that they are dead first (especially when very expensive!).

No 1 1991 'H' 300e-24 sportline saloon 5 speed auto 118,000 miles...
I found some old pictures of my 300E-24 sportline. I sold this car four years ago on a whim (another customer in the garage that was servicing it offered me more than I paid for it two years earlier). One of the cars I should never have sold.
I checked the RAC website and he still has it.
