Hi, My MB 380SL from 1984, stalls or at least hesitates when hot and starting from a standstill at a redlight or so. Also when the engine is warm and you want to start it, it rotates many times before it fires up. It has only been driven some 85000 km so far. Any ideas what could be the problem...

Hi - does anyone know what would be the original registrations plates on a 1982 380SL (R107)? I am guessing they would be the standard acrylic ones, rather than the metal ones with plastic raised lettering? Does anyone know where I can get the correct ones made up from?

Hi, Can someone tell me the axle ratio for the '81 onwards 380SL, as supplied in the UK ? None of my reference books seem to contain this info. Thanks, Anthony
