I have been thinking about selling my fun cars (Triumph Spitfire & GT6) and buying an SL. The Triumphs aren't worth much so it would need to be a cheap SL. Do you think this would fit the bill or end up costing a fortune...

I have just bought my fathers 450SLC and want to restore it. General condition is ok and it recently passed an MOT etc, but it has been sitting unused for a long time so needs a thorough checkover and some interior trim replaced (seats and rear shelf). It could also do with a lower body...
