Hi I have a c240 which needs the brake booster pipe replacing, straight forward I thought ! My problem is I need to change the "grommet/gland" where the pipe goes in the engine it spins freely but I can't remove it any ideas???

I just bought a mint C240 auto 1998. The only issue is a slight knock or rattle from one of the pulleys at the timing belt, I think it may need a new pulley bearing?? If so is this a big/expensive job?

Well I'm assuming it's a write off. Doesn't look quite so bad here as the bonnet vertical bits around the grille were pushed back behind the headlights until I liberated them to pump out some of the full tank of petrol. With the bonnet push that far back I was suprised it was still driveable...
