Hi. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the differnce between ceramic cats and metallic substrate ? Is one quieter than the other ? One higher flow ? Any recommendations for a replacement on a 01 CLK 230K W208 ? Thanks

need to change my cat on my w202, funds are tighter than a nun at the moment but i was wondering the advantages and disadvantages of steel and ceramic cats. price wise its about £50 difference. any guidience will be most welcome.

I was wondering if anyone had one of these? and if so what do you think of it? I've looked at a few online and they are not expensive ... so I was thinking they may be a waste of time, if not even dangerous? Any views appreciated, I did read about them somewhere but could not find it just...
