Looking for some advice. Presently in my '98 W202 estate I've got a Sony radiogram in the car with a 6 stack CD thingumy in the boot. I'm not entirely satisfied with this as (a) I never remember to change the CD's in the boot and consequently am fed up with what I have in there at the moment...

Is there something wrong with my digital radio or is the DAB service really a load of over-hyped cr@p? I've got a £500 TEAC mini system, tuner/CD (fortunately AM/FM as well as digital). Contrary to all the hype, I can see no improvement in sound quality over FM whatsoever. I live half a mile...

It is time for a new radio in the car, and Halfords are doing a JVC DAB radio that also plays mp3 CD-R for £200. Is DAB actually worth it in the car? I don't mean from a content point of view, more from the practicalities of it. What's it like in city centres, what's it like on motorways...

Anyone got one of these? looking at purchasing one, but could do with some recommendations. There seems to be only 5-6 models out there. Looking for a smaller one to fit in pocket, maybe with MP3 added and has a great sound. I believe iPod are looking to add something later...

I'll be needing an ariel for my DAB radio, and a GPS ariel wouldn't hurt either. I'm just wondering if there is a single antenna that would kill two birds with one stone? Would also be handy to have a GRPS antenna for a mobile phone in it too... I know im asking too much! :rolleyes:

after a chat with the bods at blaupunkt, they suggested that I would get much much better reception by using a 'real/ aerial instead of my through glass version - considering that a) it goes through 2 layers of glass, plus the 'heat reflecting' element of it disturbs the signal and c) its too...

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my Pioneer AVIC-X1 with a DAB tuner - is DAB any good in cars at the moment - it there sufficient coverage. I listen to 5-Live most of the time and a gain in clarity over the AM signal would be great! Thanks

I going to order a :bannana: New CLK 320 Cabrio :bannana: , however I'm quite addicted to this new DAB Radio Lark :o The plan is to get Command, however is there anyway to get DAB into the car also? I dont want to change the fasia. Currently I drive a BMW with a Factory Fitted Business...

Anyone know if there is any DAB radio box available for the Comand 2.0? (Apart from a seperate head unit into the aux input) Thanks
