Dying the fabric in the door cards

When I bought my 1994 250D last month I wasn't that keen on the garish colour of the door cards. The combined effect gave the door panel a pinkish look which is not for me. :o So I bought some Rust-Oleum vinyl & fabric spray paint today from B&Q. I had seen some scary videos on Youtube of...

Fabric suppliers - any tips? 1985 051 'black'

Hi all, Anyone know where I can either get a bit of this fabric - 051 - black (sometimes called anthracite)? It was produced from 1970 into the 90s, and put on more or less every car in the range (a bit utilitarian for the 600 and 450sel, though!). I'm even happy with any part of a...

    Cabriolet Fabric Roof Protection

Anyone got any great tips for protecting a cabriolet roof? I have quite a bit of experience with this but am not having much luck with the CLK. I have tried the Autoglym kit (rubbish), Renovo (too messy) and used to get good results with spraying the roof with ‘Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water...

    Hood Fabric glue...

I have just bought and fitted a new rear window for my Zed, and the glue provided to stick down the overlap of roof is not all that great (as a sealant is fine). So can anyone recommend one that is suitable for mohair roofs and will be pretty damn strong? :)
