The horn wiring at the steering wheel as a live feed therefore when the horn pad is pushed there is a short curcuit! Does anyone know if there should be a live to the horn push as most other models are usually switched on the earth side of the horns?

Hi everyone, had my w202 c200 a week now, and cant help but notice the horn is really puny, sounds as if it is not getting enough power, have checked fuse, and seems ok but tried my mates c180 (1996 model) and horn sounded far better. Can anyone help?
