    "Extras" - how important?

Specifically air con & cruise. Both together, they're not overly common on 6-cylinder W201s & W124s. How are they viewed in older cars? Must haves? Desirable? Or just a nice bonus if both are present? Is one preferable to the other (I'd guess at air con)? Thought / comments?

I have inside information that the speed cameras on the M25 (J10-15) are being upgraded this weekend from analogue to digital. This basically means that the "Triger Point" has decreased from 93 MPH to 80 MPH. Hope this helps prevent some unwanted points! ;)
