My mate has just bought a stolen recovered [not sure whether cat C or D] 1999 W210 - he hasn't got a key or a logbook - chicken and egg - how does he get a key from MB without the log book which he can't get until it's inspected at Chadderton [which he can't get to because he hasn't got a key]...

Does anyone know if you can get replacement externals for the keys, our one has broken so when you unclip the key from the fob it doesnt stay together? I have seen complete second hand keys on ebay but they would require coding:rolleyes:
